3 Days 2 Nights Siena Historical Tour

Passing though one of the historic gates of the city, you seem to enter another era: every brick contains a piece of history. Arriving in Piazza del Campo, you cannot help but relive the glory of Sienese Republic, for which a thousand battles were fought in defense of independence. Inside the walls, the 17 contradas (neighborhoods), whose territories pass up and down hills and through curious narrow streets, seem like tiny counties, which explode with vitality during the days of the Palio, the race run on 2 July and 16 August.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Siena. Enjoy a typical mediaeval dinner and then discover Siena’s treasures.

Day 2: Combine the art with a sweet tasting at a confectioner’s in the town center. In the afternoon follow our professional guide through the streets of Siena for a urban trekking that will allow you to discover the beautiful narrow alleys and the countryside around Siena. At the end of the day you can taste the best Italian wines, including Brunello di Montalcino, at the Enoteca Italiana, based in Siena.

Day 3: Before leaving Siena, visit the artisans of taste in the city centre. Conclusion of your stay in the Terre di Siena and the end of our services.
