5 Days Italy Wine Tasting & Cooking Tour
This unique culinary journey through Italy combines traditional cooking, regional wine tastings and visits to some of the most beautiful landscapes in northern and central Italy. The tour begins in the vineyards of Piedmont, continues along the Ligurian coast near Genoa and Portofino, and concludes in the historic Tuscan wine region around Siena.
Travelers will experience authentic Italian hospitality while staying in charming farmhouses, boutique bed & breakfasts and traditional hotels. The itinerary includes cooking classes, vineyard visits, wine tastings and opportunities to explore historic Italian towns and countryside.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Monferrato (Piedmont)
Arrival at a traditional farmhouse in the beautiful Monferrato wine region of Piedmont. In the afternoon guests may participate in a traditional cooking class where local chefs demonstrate the preparation of classic regional recipes.
The experience includes tasting the dishes prepared together with excellent local wines such as Dolcetto d’Ovada DOC and Barbera. Alternatively guests may participate in a pottery workshop learning traditional ceramic techniques.
Dinner and overnight at the farmhouse.
Day 2 – Monferrato Wine Experience
After breakfast featuring homemade focaccia and local products, guests visit the estate’s wine cellars and agricultural museum.
The morning continues with a tasting of Cortese white wine from the Alto Monferrato region. Later visit the historic spa town of Acqui Terme known for its thermal waters and elegant architecture.
Dinner and overnight in the farmhouse.
Day 3 – Genoa, Portofino and Camogli
Departure for Genoa, the historic maritime city on the Ligurian Sea. Guests explore the lively harbour area, the renovated Porto Antico and the medieval streets known as “carruggi”.
Lunch in a traditional restaurant before continuing to the elegant seaside village of Portofino. In the evening arrival in Camogli for dinner and overnight in a charming bed and breakfast.
Day 4 – Florence and Siena
After breakfast travel to Florence, the heart of the Italian Renaissance. Enjoy a light lunch in a traditional wine bar and free time to explore the city.
Later continue to Siena, one of Tuscany’s most beautiful medieval towns. Dinner in a historic restaurant and overnight stay in Siena.
Day 5 – Tuscan Wine Tour
The final day is dedicated to discovering the famous vineyards of Tuscany. Guests join a guided wine tour visiting areas such as Chianti, Montepulciano, Montalcino or San Gimignano.
During the excursion travelers visit a local winery and enjoy tastings of some of Italy’s most celebrated wines while admiring the spectacular landscapes of the Tuscan countryside.
